Argento Pinot Grigio

This refreshing Pinot Grigio offers delicate floral aromas and is light and clean to taste. White stone fruit flavors are complemented by mineral and slate notes typical of fruit from high altitude, cool climate vineyards. The wine finishes with bright, crisp acidity.

2010 Harvest - Mendoza

Broadly speaking the 2010 harvest was of excellent quality. A cold spring delayed budding, and a late frost resulted in relatively low yields per hectare. The summer started late and temperatures were high until mid-February, when they became somewhat cooler. The harvest of Pinot Grigio started in February in the Eastern Region of Mendoza, and in March in the higher valleys of the Central Region and Uco Valley. Due to the mild temperatures from mid-February to March, the grapes displayed a higher aromatic intensity than previous years.

Dan Berger's Vintage Experiences
"Wild spice aroma with great mid-palate florality and a dry finish, yet still succulent and food friendly. Best with Thai or Mandarin."
